Hi! I'm Beth. I live in Norwich with my fiancé Marcus, and together we try to squeeze as many adventures into life as possible. Exploring different countries is what I enjoy the most, and after we get married next year we plan to do the 'Vanlife' thing around Europe and beyond.
Travelling with my future hubs
I don't remember a time where I wasn't an avid photographer. Even as a 7-year-old child growing up in Spain with a disposable camera, I loved freezing moments that would last forever. My favourite book was the family photo album, and every Christmas I would ask Santa for a camera of my own (he even pulled through a couple of times!)
I babysat my way to my first SLR at the age of 13 and didn't waste any time to start photographing my friends and family. I even developed a small client base and started earning a bit of spare cash. I had weekly phonecall lessons from my photographer Dad, and by the time I went to college in the UK I knew most of what they were teaching us in photography class already.
Photographs I took growing up, between the age of 13 and 15
My love for photography never stopped, but I never believed in myself enough to take the leap professionally. When I saw other photographers being paid for their work, I knew I could work just as hard and get just as good results, and I felt a little jealous. Why aren't I doing that? I would think. When I couldn't come up with any good excuses, I realised that I needed to give myself the opportunity. And so I did, and I haven't looked back since.
